“The Little Radio Show” is a 30-minute weekly general interest radio show. Topics include current events, arts & entertainment, business & technology, as well as Latino lifestyle. Show segments include interviews with community members and topic experts.

Show hosts are Sandra Fernandez (@sandrasays), publisher of the HispanicHouston.com website, and Juan Alanis (@juanofwords) and Anjelica Cazares (@la_anjel), publishers of the Juan of Words blog – they are all among the top social media influencers and Latino lifestyle bloggers in the country.

Sandra Fernandez

Sandra FernandezSandra Fernandez is a public relations and social media consultant with SandraSaysMedia. She oversees the planning and implementation of communications and promotional plans, from brainstorming and writing to budgeting and tracking results. She also is the publisher of HispanicHouston.com, a website that covers events and cultural happenings for the Hispanic community in the greater Houston area.  Sandra teaches government, small businesses and non-profits how to use social media successfully through conferences, workshops, panels and presentations. Juan Alanis

Juan AlanisJuan Alanis is Vice President of Corporate Communications for FleishmanHillard, as well as co-founder of the leading U.S. Hispanic lifestyle blog on Mexican living, Juan of Words. Based in Houston, Texas, Juan is responsible for providing expertise on engaging the U.S. Hispanic segment for some of FleishmanHillard’s top tier U.S. clients.

A writer by nature, Juan has written professionally for publications including the Houston Chronicle, the San Antonio Express News, the Texas Travel Guide, La Prensa Gráfica of El Salvador, Rumbo Newspapers and La Voz de Houston. Juan was awarded First place in Features and Third place in News writing by the Texas Associated Press Managing Editors for his work with Spanish-language publication La Voz de Houston. In 2012, he was nominated for The Innovator Revolucionario Award by The Social Revolución at SXSW Interactive. That same year, he served as conference director for the Latinos in Tech Innovation and Social Media (LATISM) national conference held in Houston.

A Texas native of Mexican descent, prior to joining FleishmanHillard Juan worked for various organizations, including Lopez Negrete Communications, The Salvation Army and the Houston Airport System.

Anjelica Cazares

Anjelica CazaresAnjelica Cazares is a social media influencer and the cofounder of the leading U.S. Hispanic Lifestyle website on Mexican living, juanofwords.com. A visual artist by nature, Anjelica creates original content for both online and offline creative executions. She lives in South Texas with her husband and son.
